The High Life

British Columbia is home to some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world. Why not live on one? The Kingma brothers have spent 15 years creating a unique and rare enclave of home sites, high on the forested slopes of Chilliwack’s beautiful Eastern Hillsides. The vast views from Boulder Springs are sure to impress. See it all while getting away from it all. Live the High Life.

High Time

You’ve worked hard.

Now it’s time for you to settle down and build a home in
a setting that will reward you. A beautiful and grand space.

A space that will allow you to breathe pure
mountain air and relax into the tranquility of life.

Isn’t it high time for high time?

High Value

It’s no secret that the value of anything increases as it becomes rarer. The Fraser Valley is one of the most desirable places in the world to live. However, we face a rapidly shrinking base of developable land. This means a new community such as Boulder Springs is becoming increasingly rare. Still more difficult to find is a lot with a fee simple title. These are not strata lots. There is no strata council. It’s freedom times freedom.

The combination of these factors will assure that the market for this type of real estate will always be tight and undersupplied. Should you choose to invest in Boulder Springs, you will be assured of value today and value tomorrow.

High Standards

We have all seen new developments that start out with promises of high construction standards which quickly deteriorate. The Kingma brothers have developed a comprehensive building scheme with strong tools to assure it is respected.

Our vision is to have home designs built that will stand the test of time. Not a mish-mash of various designs, many of which are trendy, but fade quickly. At Boulder Springs, houses will complement each other. Homes will be modern farmhouse style, colonial, arts and crafts, and traditional. Some transitional contemporary designs will be allowed. Flat roofs and large flat white cubes with only glass to break them up will be discouraged.

We require a $20,000 design compliance deposit, refundable when the house is completed as approved.

Highly Qualified

To assure all homes are built to a high standard and the building scheme is respected, we have implemented a policy whereby only approved builders can build in Boulder Springs. At this time we have 4 registered builders. All have extended experience and a proven track records of satisfying their customers and meeting their financial obligations. They are also committed to our design standards, assuring the completed version of Boulder Springs is in line with the vision of a beautiful community.

You can meet with the builders, find one that you are comfortable with, and work with them to design and build the home of your dreams. Should you have another builder in mind that you trust, they will have to go through our Builder Approval Process.

Highly Doable

Buying a building site, designing a home, finding a builder, and arranging financing for the entire process can be a daunting experience. Our team of marketing and building professionals will guide you through the process. As developers we will cooperate with you to make the experience as stress-free as possible. Put a $20,000 refundable deposit on your preferred lot and get going. Find the right plan, a builder you feel comfortable with, and approved financing. Then complete the sale. We will give you up to 90 days to get this done, interest free. As long as you are actively working towards building a home. While you are working on this, you are assured of your chosen building site at the agreed price.

Highly Experienced

A community can only be as good as the people that created it.

Peter and Sid Kingma of Kingma have been creating fine communities in the Fraser Valley and other areas of B.C. for 40 years. They have been in construction for over 50 years. Theirs is one of the most respected names in the business. They have built over 1200 homes in the Fraser Valley and developed many fine communities.

They are career builders and land developers. They’ve been hands on since the 1970s building their business from the ground up. Their families have continued in the construction business. They are financially strong and patient. They’re in no hurry to fill up each lot in Boulder Springs with whatever anyone wants to build. They take pride in their work and will patiently cooperate with buyers and builders to create a community that everyone involved can be proud of. Their long time project manager and site supervisor, Jim Vroom, has managed the construction of almost 1000 homes for Kingma Brothers. He will be the Design Approval Officer for Boulder Springs and will ensure that the houses are built as approved and each house is appropriate for the topography it occupies. This is very important to minimize the use of large, expensive and unsightly retaining walls.

Sid's son, Rob Kingma of Kingcraft Construction, is one of the approved builders. Peter's daughter, Andrea Bravo, is the realtor in charge of marketing and sales for Boulder Springs. It’s a family business.

Note: Peter and Sid Kingma each have a development company. They have joint ventured to do this project, as they have for 40 years. All agreements will be in the names of the following two companies:

Wilmark Homes Ltd. Peter Kingma, President

Homecraft Construction Ltd. Sid Kingma, President
